Lautsprecher Teufel is a Berlin-based manufacturer of premium quality audio devices. Since the company was founded in 1980 with the first DIY building kits on the market, it has consequently evolved to become the leading sales company in internet-based speakers in Europe and is currently the largest company for THX speakers worldwide.

For the duration of our long term partnership, we joined forces with their in-house design team in the development of a wide range of portable and stationary speakers, incorporating an aesthetic language that unifies the design of their diverse product portfolio.

The dominant shapes arise out of continuous extrusions which allows for the application of high grade metal for the outer housing while at the same time resulting in relatively low production costs. By using this bold material, the emphasis on technical excellence is further accentuated. An embossed logo is prominently placed at the centre of each product. The active speakers are controlled by an eye-catching knurling knob that is reminiscent of the heritage of professional amplifiers.

Covering the barely visible cones with a high quality metal grill reinforces an audio performance that is both powerful and elegant.
